Deputy Director

Joe's wide-ranging background in science education brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to the ETX Center. He worked with the NASA Astrobiology Academy at Ames Research Center, as well as served as a classroom teacher and school administrator for more than 15 years. Joe also worked in industry designing, reviewing, and managing the development of online science courses for private companies. Joe is a trained scientist who holds a M.S. in Molecular Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a formal educator with a M.Ed in Curriculum Design & Instructional Technology from the State University of New York at Albany. Within the ETX Center, Joe serves as the Deputy Principal Investigator for the NASA Infiniscope project and manages the overall operations of our team.
