Mia Brunkhorst
Tech Learning Design Lead
Mia is a learning designer at the ETX center. She has a Bachelor’s of Science from Northern Arizona University in physics and astronomy. She has worked on several Martian crater morphology and volcanic topography research projects for NASA, and loves math so much she got a tattoo of her favorite equation, Euler’s identity. Mia began her career teaching middle and high school math, computer science, and engineering. More recently she worked as an educator at Lowell Observatory, developing curriculum for public outreach and kids camp programs. Currently, Mia is finishing up her Master’s degree in learning design. Mia enjoys learning about space and black holes, reading science fiction books, and camping.
