Instructional Design Associate

A native of Montana, Rich joined the ETX Center in February 2023. He earned a bachelor's degree in English at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, then spent most of his career in fundraising and marketing for higher education and non-profits. Shifting careers during the pandemic, Rich recently completed a master's degree in Learning Experience Design and Technology at Northeastern University. At ETX, Rich helps bring science concepts to life for diverse learners. His background as a humanities major (translation: a non-scientist who is slow at math) gives him some insight into the struggles and motivations of students who engage with the Center's digital learning experiences.
